Description
These Baked Cinnamon Twists with Crescent Rolls are a quick, flaky treat loaded with buttery cinnamon sugar. Perfect for brunches, snacks, or an easy dessert, they’re made in under 30 minutes using refrigerated crescent roll dough and a few pantry staples.
Ingredients
1 can (8 oz) crescent roll dough
3 tablespoons melted butter
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Powdered sugar (optional, for dusting or glaze)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Unroll crescent dough and pinch seams together if needed. Lightly roll into a smooth rectangle.
3. Brush melted butter over dough. Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl and sprinkle over half of the dough.
4. Fold the other half over the cinnamon layer and gently press.
5. Slice into 10–12 strips. Twist each strip and place on the baking sheet.
6. Bake for 10–12 minutes until golden brown.
7. Let cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle glaze, if desired.
Notes
Use seamless crescent dough for easier assembly.
Don’t overfill with butter or sugar to keep twists tight.
Glaze with a simple powdered sugar and milk mix for extra sweetness.
