Ingredients
1 sleeve saltine crackers
1 cup unsalted butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
0.5 cup chopped pecans or holiday sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil and spray with nonstick spray. Arrange crackers in a single layer.
2. In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar over medium heat. Stir constantly until boiling. Let boil for 3 minutes without stirring.
3. Pour toffee mixture over crackers and spread evenly.
4. Bake for 5 minutes. Remove and sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Let sit for 2 minutes, then spread melted chocolate evenly.
