This creamy and comforting Slow Cooker Chicken Alfredo is packed with juicy chicken, a rich garlic-Parmesan sauce, and tender fettuccine pasta. A fuss-free weeknight dinner that reheats like a dream.
Ingredients
1.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
3 cups heavy cream
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
8 oz cream cheese, cubed
12 oz fettuccine pasta
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker. Sprinkle garlic powder, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning over the chicken.
2. Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth. Top with cubed cream cheese and grated Parmesan.
3. Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours, until chicken is tender.
4. Remove chicken, shred it with two forks, then return it to the sauce and stir well.
5. Add uncooked fettuccine, stir to submerge, and cook on high for 20–30 minutes until al dente.
6. Stir in butter until melted. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve.
Notes
Let the cream cheese come to room temperature for easier melting.
Stir the sauce well before adding pasta to prevent separation.
Add a splash of milk or broth when reheating for best texture.
