Ingredients
12 oz linguine
1 lb ground beef
2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
8 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the linguine until al dente. Drain and set aside, saving about 1/2 cup of pasta water.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Stir in Cajun seasoning. Remove from skillet.
3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sautée the garlic until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and reduce heat to low.
4. Add Velveeta cubes and stir until melted. Mix in Parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens.
5. Return the beef to the pan, add linguine, and toss everything together. Add reserved pasta water if needed.
6. Season with salt and pepper. Serve hot with extra Parmesan or herbs.
Notes
Use low heat while melting the cheese to prevent separation.
Adjust Cajun seasoning based on heat preference.
Reserve some pasta water to adjust sauce thickness if needed.
