Ingredients
12 oz bowtie pasta
1 lb ground beef
4 oz cream cheese
1 cup heavy cream
2 tbsp butter
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp olive oil
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add bowtie pasta and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup pasta water.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef, breaking it apart. Season with salt, pepper, and half of the Cajun seasoning. Cook until browned and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, melt butter and add garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
4. Add cream cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
5. Pour in heavy cream and remaining Cajun seasoning. Stir to combine and simmer until sauce slightly thickens.
6. Lower heat, add Parmesan cheese, and stir until melted. Add reserved pasta water if needed.
7. Return beef and pasta to the skillet. Toss everything together until coated.
8. Garnish with fresh parsley and red pepper flakes if desired. Serve hot.
Notes
Use freshly grated Parmesan for best melt.
Adjust Cajun seasoning to your spice preference.
Add a splash of milk or cream when reheating leftovers.
