Description

Cajun garlic butter linguine with tender beef strips rigatoni is a rich and creamy pasta recipe packed with bold Cajun spice, juicy seared beef, and a velvety garlic butter sauce. Perfect for dinner, this quick and easy pasta dish blends Southern heat with Italian comfort.

Ingredients

225g linguine or rigatoni

300g beef sirloin or ribeye, thinly sliced

3 garlic cloves, minced

3 tablespoons butter

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning

120ml heavy cream

30g Parmesan cheese, grated

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

⅛ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

1. Cook the linguine or rigatoni in salted water according to package directions. Drain and reserve 1 cup of pasta water.

2. Season beef strips with salt, pepper, and ½ teaspoon of Cajun seasoning.

3. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, sear the beef in olive oil until browned and just cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.

4. Lower the heat and add butter and garlic to the same skillet. Stir for 1 minute until fragrant.

5. Add remaining Cajun seasoning and pour in heavy cream. Stir in Parmesan until melted and creamy.

6. Gradually add reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce to desired consistency.

7. Return pasta and beef to the skillet. Toss until coated and heated through.

8. Garnish with parsley and red pepper flakes. Serve hot with extra Parmesan if desired.

Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan for better melting and flavor.

Don’t skip the pasta water—it helps emulsify the sauce.

Slice beef thinly and against the grain for tender bites.
