Ingredients
12 oz linguine
1 lb beef strips (sirloin or ribeye)
2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
3 tbsp butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the linguine until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season beef strips with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Sear for 2-3 minutes per side, then remove and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add butter and garlic; sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
4. Pour in heavy cream and stir in Parmesan. Simmer until sauce thickens slightly.
5. Add drained pasta and a splash of reserved pasta water to the skillet. Toss to coat.
6. Return beef to the pan and combine everything until warmed through.
7. Serve hot, garnished with more Parmesan and parsley if desired.
Notes
This dish is best served fresh, but leftovers keep well in the fridge.
You can swap the beef for shrimp or chicken if preferred.
