Description
This luxurious Cajun Seafood Alfredo blends tender lobster and sweet crab in a rich, creamy Alfredo sauce with bold Cajun spices, perfect for date night or a gourmet dinner at home.
Ingredients
12 oz fettuccine
2 tbsp olive oil
2 lobster tails (about 6 oz each), shells removed and meat chopped
8 oz lump crab meat, drained if canned
3 tbsp unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Cajun seasoning
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Chopped parsley and lemon wedges for garnish
Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the fettuccine according to package directions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped lobster and lightly season with Cajun seasoning. Cook 2-3 minutes until opaque. Remove and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds. Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan, Cajun seasoning, and paprika. Simmer until thickened, 4–5 minutes.
4. Gently fold in crab meat and cooked lobster. Simmer 2 minutes. If needed, add a splash of reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce.
5. Add fettuccine and toss until well coated. Adjust seasoning, garnish with parsley and lemon wedges, and serve hot.
Notes
Use fresh seafood for best results.
Reserve pasta water to adjust sauce consistency.
Grate Parmesan fresh for a smoother sauce.
