Ingredients
1 box fudge brownie mix
1/2 cup chocolate frosting
12 oz semisweet chocolate chips or candy melts
1/2 tsp peppermint extract
3/4 cup crushed candy canes
Sprinkles or edible glitter (optional)
Instructions
1. Prepare and bake the brownies according to package directions in a 9×9 pan. Let them cool completely.
2. Crumble the cooled brownies into a large bowl.
3. Mix in the chocolate frosting until a soft dough forms.
4. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined tray. Chill for 30 minutes.
5. Melt the chocolate chips or candy melts in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth. Stir in peppermint extract if using.
6. Dip each ball into the melted chocolate. Let excess drip off.
7. Place dipped balls on parchment and sprinkle immediately with crushed candy canes or sprinkles.
8. Let them set at room temperature or refrigerate for 15–20 minutes until firm.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
For extra flair, drizzle with white chocolate after dipping.
