This Cheeseburger Pasta Dinner Casserole delivers the cozy, cheesy satisfaction of a burger in every bite of pasta. Quick to make, family-friendly, and freezer-ready, it’s the perfect weeknight meal.
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1/2 medium yellow onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups dry rotini or elbow pasta
1 (15 oz) can diced tomatoes, with juices
1/4 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon yellow mustard
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup beef broth or water
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
1/2 cup milk
Chopped pickles (optional, for topping)
Instructions
1. In a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and onion until beef is browned and onion is soft.
2. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
3. Stir in ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire, paprika, salt, and pepper; simmer for 2 minutes.
4. Add uncooked pasta, diced tomatoes (with juices), and beef broth. Stir, bring to a simmer, cover, and cook for 10–12 minutes.
5. Once pasta is tender, stir in milk and 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
6. Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup cheddar on top.
7. Transfer skillet to oven and bake uncovered at 375°F for 10–12 minutes until bubbly and golden.
8. Top with chopped pickles if desired and serve hot.
