Description

Flaky crescent dough meets a gooey beef and cheddar filling in these savory Cheesy Beefy Rolls. They’re quick, cheesy, and wildly addictive—perfect for parties, snacks, or easy dinners.


Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

1/2 cup diced onions

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 tablespoon butter, melted

1/2 teaspoon dried parsley


Instructions

1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef with diced onions until browned and soft, about 6–8 minutes. Drain excess fat.

2. Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes. Stir well and cook for another 1–2 minutes.

3. Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheddar until melted and fully combined. Let the mixture cool slightly.

4. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles. Add a spoonful of filling to each and roll them up.

5. Place rolls seam-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with dried parsley.

6. Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown. Let cool for a couple of minutes before serving.

Notes

Make sure the beef mixture isn’t too hot when rolling to prevent melting the dough.

Try mixing in different cheeses like pepper jack for a spicier twist.

If freezing, reheat in the oven—not microwave—for best texture.
