Ingredients
1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
2 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 ½ cups heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
12 oz rigatoni pasta
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
Instructions
1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season steak with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Sear on both sides until golden brown and cooked to your liking. Remove and rest.
2. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add butter. Stir in minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
3. Pour in heavy cream and whisk until combined. Let it simmer gently.
4. Stir in Parmesan cheese and mix until smooth and thickened.
5. Cook rigatoni in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain.
6. Slice rested steak into bite-sized pieces.
7. Add cooked rigatoni to the sauce, then fold in steak pieces.
8. Stir gently until everything is coated and warmed through.
9. Serve hot with additional Parmesan or chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
Use high-quality steak for best flavor and tenderness.
Don’t overcook the garlic—it only needs a quick sauté.
Add a splash of cream when reheating leftovers to restore creaminess.
