Ingredients
1 pound linguine
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 pound ground beef
1/2 pound Italian sausage
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
4 cups baby spinach
4 ounces cream cheese
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook linguine until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water and drain.
2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
3. Add ground beef and sausage. Cook until browned, seasoning with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
4. Stir in spinach until wilted.
5. Reduce heat and mix in cream cheese until melted. Add mozzarella and Parmesan, stirring to create a smooth sauce. Add reserved pasta water as needed.
6. Toss the cooked linguine with the sauce until fully coated. Serve hot with extra Parmesan on top.
Notes
Use fresh linguine for a silkier bite.
Add mushrooms or sun-dried tomatoes for extra flavor.
