Description

This Cheesy Penne and Cajun Chicken in Garlic Parmesan Cream is a creamy, spicy pasta recipe perfect for weeknight dinners or comfort food cravings. With bold Cajun flavors and a silky garlic parmesan sauce, it’s a must-try chicken pasta dish.


Ingredients

12 oz penne pasta

2 boneless skinless chicken breasts

2 tbsp Cajun seasoning

2 tbsp olive oil

4 garlic cloves, minced

2 tbsp butter

1 1/2 cups heavy cream

3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)


Instructions

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook penne pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2. Slice chicken breasts into bite-sized strips and season with Cajun seasoning.

3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.

4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.

5. Add heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese and season with salt and black pepper.

6. Return pasta and chicken to the skillet. Mix well until coated and heated through.

7. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve hot.

Notes

This dish is best served immediately while the sauce is fresh and creamy.

Use freshly grated Parmesan for the smoothest texture.

If reheating, add a splash of cream or milk to revive the sauce.
