Ingredients
1 lb Velveeta cheese
1 can (10 oz) Rotel tomatoes with green chilies
4 oz cream cheese
1 packet ranch seasoning mix
1/2 lb cooked ground beef or sausage (optional)
Instructions
1. Cube the Velveeta and cream cheese for even melting.
2. Drain the Rotel tomatoes if you prefer a thicker consistency.
3. If using meat, brown and crumble in a skillet until fully cooked and drain the excess fat.
4. Add Velveeta, cream cheese, Rotel, ranch seasoning, and optional meat into a slow cooker or saucepan.
5. Heat on low, stirring occasionally until fully melted and smooth.
6. Serve warm with tortilla chips or over nachos. Keep warm if serving at a party.
Notes
Use low heat to prevent cheese from becoming gritty.
Make sure to drain cooked meat well to avoid oily dip.
Add a splash of milk when reheating to restore creaminess.
