Ingredients
8 oz rotini pasta
2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
3 tbsp butter
1 cup heavy cream
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook rotini until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter over medium heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then cook until golden and done. Remove and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, add remaining butter and garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
4. Stir in heavy cream, bring to a low simmer, then add Parmesan. Stir until melted and smooth.
5. Return chicken and pasta to the skillet. Toss everything together and cook for another 2–3 minutes.
6. Serve hot, topped with extra Parmesan if desired.
Notes
Make sure to use freshly grated Parmesan for best results.
Avoid overheating the sauce to prevent separation.
Leftovers can be reheated with a splash of cream to revive the texture.
