Description
This Chopped Biscuit Pizza Casserole is a bubbly, cheesy comfort food dream. Chunks of soft biscuit dough are tossed in pizza sauce, loaded with melty mozzarella and savory toppings, then baked into a satisfying casserole that’s perfect for family dinners, game nights, or potlucks.
Ingredients
1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
1 cup pizza sauce
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
0.5 cup sliced pepperoni
0.5 teaspoon Italian seasoning
0.25 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon olive oil
0.25 cup diced bell peppers
0.25 cup sliced black olives
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
2. Cut each biscuit into quarters. In a large bowl, toss biscuit pieces with olive oil, Italian seasoning, and crushed red pepper flakes.
3. Add pizza sauce and mix to coat evenly. Stir in half the mozzarella, half the pepperoni, and any additional toppings.
4. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish. Top with remaining mozzarella, pepperoni, and Parmesan.
5. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until biscuits are cooked through and the cheese is golden and bubbling.
6. Let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
• Use homestyle or buttermilk biscuits for best texture—avoid flaky layers.
• Feel free to mix in veggies or swap pepperoni for cooked sausage or bacon.
• To reheat leftovers, cover with foil and bake at 350°F for 10–15 minutes.
