Description

These Christmas Truffles are rich, creamy, no-bake delights perfect for the holidays. Coated in festive toppings and made with a smooth chocolate ganache, they’re ideal for gifting, dessert platters, or a little indulgence at home.

Ingredients

12 oz semi-sweet chocolate, chopped

0.5 cup heavy cream

0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 pinch salt

1 tablespoon liqueur (optional)

Assorted toppings: crushed candy canes, sprinkles, cocoa powder, shredded coconut, or chopped nuts

Instructions

1. Place chopped chocolate in a heatproof bowl. Heat cream in a saucepan until simmering and pour over chocolate.

2. Let sit for 1 minute, then stir until smooth. Mix in vanilla, salt, and optional liqueur.

3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours until firm.

4. Scoop and roll into 1-inch balls. Dust hands with cocoa if sticky.

5. Roll truffles in your choice of toppings.

6. Store in the fridge in an airtight container. Let sit at room temp 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Use baking chocolate bars for smoother ganache instead of chocolate chips.

Add liqueur like Baileys or Grand Marnier for a grown-up flavor.

Make ahead and freeze for up to 2 months; perfect for holiday prep.
