Description

Classic Peach Cobbler Cheesecake Donuts combine fluffy fried dough with sweet cinnamon peaches, creamy cheesecake filling, and a buttery crumble topping. These donuts bring together the best parts of a cobbler and cheesecake in a handheld treat perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dessert.

Ingredients

1 can flaky biscuit dough (8 pieces)

1 cup canned peaches, diced (drained well)

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

4 ounces cream cheese, softened

2 tablespoons powdered sugar

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

2 tablespoons butter, melted

2 tablespoons granulated sugar

Oil for frying (vegetable or canola)

Instructions

1. In a small saucepan, combine diced peaches, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Simmer for 5–7 minutes until syrupy and thickened slightly. Remove from heat and let cool.

2. In a medium bowl, mix softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Set aside.

3. In a separate bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, and melted butter. Mix with a fork until crumbly. Bake at 350°F for 8–10 minutes or until golden. Let cool.

4. Heat oil in a deep skillet to 350°F. Flatten each biscuit slightly and fry in batches for about 1–2 minutes per side until golden brown. Drain on paper towels and cool slightly.

5. Use a piping bag or small spoon to fill each donut with cheesecake filling. Top with a spoonful of peach mixture and a sprinkle of the baked crumble.

Notes

Make sure to drain the canned peaches well to avoid soggy donuts.

Use canned biscuit dough for a shortcut, or substitute with homemade donut dough if preferred.

Only fill and top donuts right before serving to maintain the best texture.
