Description

Comfort Crock Pot Crack Chicken is a creamy, cheesy, slow-cooked dish that’s perfect for family dinners or meal prep. Loaded with ranch-seasoned shredded chicken, melted cream cheese, crispy bacon, and cheddar, it’s the ultimate comfort food.

Ingredients

2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix

16 oz cream cheese, cubed

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

8 slices cooked bacon, crumbled

0.25 cup chopped green onions (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Place chicken breasts in the crock pot.

2. Sprinkle ranch seasoning over the chicken and top with cubed cream cheese.

3. Cover and cook on LOW for 6-7 hours or HIGH for 4 hours.

4. Shred the chicken in the pot using two forks and mix well with the melted cream cheese.

5. Add cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon; stir to combine.

6. Cook for an additional 5-10 minutes to heat through.

7. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve.

Notes

Use chicken thighs if you prefer a juicier texture.

Let the sauce thicken by removing the lid for the last 30 minutes.

For freezer meals, portion out and label bags before freezing.
