Description

A comforting, hearty meal layered with creamy mashed potatoes, crispy chicken, corn, savory gravy, and melty cheese. These Copycat KFC Bowls are a fast-food favorite made easily at home—customizable, quick, and utterly satisfying.

Ingredients

2 cups mashed potatoes

1 1/2 cups frozen corn, thawed

1 1/2 cups crispy chicken pieces (popcorn chicken or nuggets)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

3/4 cup brown gravy

Optional: chopped parsley or green onions for garnish

Instructions

1. Warm the mashed potatoes and distribute evenly into serving bowls.

2. Heat the corn and spoon it over the mashed potatoes.

3. Cook the chicken until crispy and add on top of the corn layer.

4. Warm the gravy and drizzle it generously over each bowl.

5. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top and microwave briefly to melt.

6. Garnish with parsley or green onions and serve hot.

Notes

You can use homemade or instant mashed potatoes depending on your time and preference.

For the crispiest chicken, bake or air fry just before assembling.

Add a pinch of paprika or cayenne for a spicy twist.
