Description
These Cowboy Butter Kielbasa and Potato Skewers bring smoky sausage and tender potatoes together, glazed in a buttery garlic-herb sauce. Perfect for grilling season and simple to prep ahead, they deliver bold, juicy flavor with every bite.
Ingredients
1 lb baby potatoes, halved if large
14 oz kielbasa sausage, sliced into 1-inch chunks
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Wooden or metal skewers
Instructions
1. Boil the baby potatoes in salted water for about 10 minutes or until just tender. Drain and let cool slightly.
2. In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, Dijon mustard, garlic, parsley, lemon juice, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper.
3. Thread the cooled potatoes and kielbasa slices alternately onto skewers.
4. Preheat your grill to medium-high. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally.
5. During the last few minutes of grilling, brush the skewers generously with cowboy butter. Serve hot with extra sauce if desired.
Notes
Make sure to boil the potatoes before skewering to ensure tenderness on the grill.
You can prep the skewers and cowboy butter ahead for easy grilling later.
Crushed red pepper flakes are optional but add a nice kick!
