This creamy Cajun butter tender steak pasta skillet recipe combines juicy seared steak, Cajun-spiced butter, and rich cream sauce tossed with pasta. Perfect for quick weeknight dinners or special occasions, it’s an indulgent one-pan meal bursting with bold flavors.
Ingredients
300 g steak
250 g pasta
3 tbsp butter
2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
1 cup heavy cream
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
1. Season steak with salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning.
2. Heat olive oil in skillet over medium-high heat and sear steak on both sides until desired doneness. Remove and rest.
3. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and reserve 1 cup pasta water.
4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add Cajun seasoning and stir.
5. Pour in heavy cream, simmer until thickened slightly.
6. Add pasta, toss to coat, then stir in Parmesan cheese, adding pasta water if needed.
7. Slice steak against the grain and arrange over pasta. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
Notes
For extra heat, add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
Use freshly grated Parmesan for best melting and flavor.
Let steak rest at least 5 minutes before slicing to keep it juicy.
