Ingredients

1 pound chicken breast

9 ounces refrigerated cheese tortellini

3 cups baby spinach

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons butter

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning


Instructions

1. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

2. Heat butter and olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken on both sides until golden and cooked through. Set aside.

3. In the same skillet, reduce heat and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.

4. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in grated parmesan until melted and sauce thickens.

5. Add tortellini directly into the sauce. Cover and cook for 4-5 minutes until pasta is tender.

6. Stir in fresh spinach and let it wilt.

7. Slice the rested chicken and return it to the skillet. Warm everything through and serve hot.
