Description
Creamy Garlic Butter Steak Rigatoni is the ultimate weeknight indulgence—tender steak bites tossed with rigatoni pasta in a velvety garlic butter cream sauce. It’s savory, rich, and incredibly comforting.
Ingredients
12 oz rigatoni pasta
1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp unsalted butter
6 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp Italian seasoning
0.5 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
1 cup heavy cream
0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the rigatoni until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain.
2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high. Add steak pieces in a single layer and sear for 2-3 minutes per side. Season with salt and pepper. Remove and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes. Stir in Italian seasoning and optional red pepper flakes.
4. Pour in the heavy cream. Simmer gently and stir in Parmesan until melted. Season as needed.
5. Return steak and rigatoni to the skillet. Toss to coat. Add pasta water gradually to thin the sauce if needed. Garnish with parsley and serve.
Notes
Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best flavor and texture in the sauce.
Don’t overcrowd the skillet when searing steak—work in batches if needed.
For extra richness, stir in a tablespoon of cream cheese with the sauce.
