Ingredients

2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts (halved lengthwise)

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon paprika

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup chicken broth

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  2. Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken for about 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  3. Make the Garlic Butter Base: Reduce heat to medium, add butter to the skillet, and sauté the minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Create the Creamy Sauce: Add chicken broth and stir to deglaze the pan. Pour in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Stir and let simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
