Description

This creamy ground beef bowtie pasta with mozzarella and parmesan is a quick and comforting one-pot meal. Loaded with melty cheese, hearty beef, and a rich tomato cream sauce, it’s the perfect easy dinner recipe for busy nights. A family-favorite pasta dish that’s indulgent yet simple to make.

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

12 oz bowtie pasta

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 yellow onion, diced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

2 tbsp tomato paste

1 tsp Italian seasoning

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the bowtie pasta until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta water and drain the rest.

2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté until soft.

3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

4. Add ground beef, break it up with a spoon, and cook until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

5. Stir in the tomato paste and cook for 1 minute to blend the flavors.

6. Pour in the heavy cream, reduce heat, and simmer for a few minutes.

7. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and mix to coat evenly.

8. Stir in the mozzarella and parmesan until melted and smooth. Add reserved pasta water as needed for consistency.

9. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Let the cheese melt slowly for a creamier sauce.

Save some pasta water to adjust the sauce thickness.

Perfect for meal prep and next-day leftovers.
