Ingredients
450g rotini pasta
450g ground beef
1 ½ tablespoons Cajun seasoning
225g Velveeta cheese, cubed
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook rotini until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and break apart with a spoon. Season with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until fully browned.
3. Lower heat to medium-low. Add cubed Velveeta and heavy cream to the beef. Stir until cheese is fully melted and the sauce is creamy.
4. Add drained rotini and shredded mozzarella. Stir to coat the pasta evenly in the sauce. Simmer for 1–2 minutes until heated through.
5. Serve hot with extra mozzarella on top if desired.
Notes
The rotini should be al dente to prevent sogginess.
Start light on Cajun seasoning and add more to taste.
Add a splash of milk when reheating leftovers to keep the sauce smooth.
