Ingredients
12 oz linguine
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 lb beef (sirloin or ground), seasoned
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
Salt and black pepper, to taste
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the linguine and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat the olive oil. Sear the beef until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
3. Reduce heat and add butter and garlic to the same skillet. Cook gently until fragrant, not browned.
4. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Let it reduce slightly. Stir in parmesan until melted and thickened.
5. Return the beef to the skillet. Add the drained linguine and toss to coat with the sauce.
6. Season with salt and pepper. Serve hot, garnished with additional parmesan and chopped parsley.
Notes
Use high-quality parmesan for best flavor.
Do not overcook the beef; keep it juicy.
Simmer the sauce to help it thicken and cling to the pasta.
