Description
This Creamy Tortellini Shrimp Alfredo Delight blends tender cheese tortellini with juicy shrimp in a rich, velvety Alfredo sauce. It’s quick, comforting, and perfect for both weeknights and special occasions.
Ingredients
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tbsp olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
9 oz cheese tortellini (refrigerated or fresh)
2 tbsp unsalted butter
0.25 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook until pink, about 2 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
2. In the same skillet, melt butter and add garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
3. Pour in heavy cream, stir in Parmesan and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring until thickened.
4. Meanwhile, cook the tortellini as directed on the package. Drain and set aside.
5. Add tortellini to the sauce and toss to coat. Fold in cooked shrimp and let everything simmer for 2 minutes.
6. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
Notes
Use fresh tortellini for a softer, gourmet finish.
Add a splash of cream or milk when reheating to maintain sauce consistency.
Spinach, mushrooms, or sun-dried tomatoes are great mix-in options.
