Description

Creamy Velveeta Spaghetti with Italian Beef Marinara is a rich, comforting pasta dish featuring silky Velveeta cheese sauce, hearty ground beef marinara, and perfectly cooked spaghetti. This easy weeknight dinner recipe blends creamy, cheesy goodness with bold Italian flavors, perfect for feeding the whole family.

Ingredients

400 g spaghetti

450 g ground beef

1 medium onion, chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

800 g crushed tomatoes

2 tablespoons tomato paste

2 teaspoons Italian seasoning

300 g Velveeta cheese, cubed

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook spaghetti until al dente. Drain, reserving 1/2 cup pasta water.

2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté chopped onion for about 4 minutes, then add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.

3. Add ground beef, cooking until browned and no longer pink. Drain excess fat.

4. Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer over low heat for 10–15 minutes.

5. Add cubed Velveeta to the sauce, stirring until fully melted and creamy. Adjust consistency with reserved pasta water if needed.

6. Toss cooked spaghetti into the sauce until evenly coated. Serve hot, garnished with parsley or Parmesan if desired.

Notes

This dish is best served immediately for the creamiest texture.

You can swap ground beef for Italian sausage for extra flavor.

Add red pepper flakes for a slight kick of spice.
