Ingredients
1 sheet puff pastry thawed
8 oz cream cheese softened
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup fresh blueberries
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 large egg
1 tablespoon water
1/2 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons milk
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Beat cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
3. Toss blueberries with lemon juice and cornstarch.
4. Roll out puff pastry and cut into 6 rectangles.
5. Score a border around each rectangle.
6. Spread cream cheese mixture in the center.
7. Top with blueberries.
8. Whisk egg with water and brush edges.
9. Bake 15 to 18 minutes until golden.
10. Drizzle glaze over cooled Danishes.
Notes
Use cold but thawed puff pastry for best results.
Avoid overfilling to prevent soggy pastry.
