Description

Fudgy, flourless, and packed with protein, these Deliciously Guilt-Free Black Bean Brownies are the ultimate better-for-you dessert. They’re rich in chocolate flavor, naturally gluten-free, and made in a blender for easy prep and clean-up.

Ingredients

1 (15 oz) can black beans, drained and rinsed

2 large eggs

½ cup maple syrup or honey

⅓ cup melted coconut oil or butter

½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

½ teaspoon baking powder

¼ teaspoon salt

½ cup dark chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

1. Add the black beans, eggs, maple syrup, coconut oil, cocoa powder, vanilla, baking powder, and salt to a food processor or blender. Blend until smooth.

2. Fold in the chocolate chips if using.

3. Pour the batter into a greased or parchment-lined 8×8-inch pan and smooth the top.

4. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20–25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.

5. Cool for 10 minutes before slicing. Enjoy warm or chilled!

Notes

Rinse the black beans thoroughly to remove any canned flavor.

Don’t overbake — they should be moist and fudgy, not dry.

Customize with chopped nuts, espresso powder, or shredded coconut.
