Ingredients
4 cups fresh broccoli florets
1 large Honeycrisp apple, thinly sliced
0.5 small red onion, finely diced
0.5 cup dried cranberries
0.5 cup shredded cheddar cheese
0.33 cup sunflower seeds
4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
0.75 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon honey
Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Wash and dry the broccoli and apple thoroughly. Cut broccoli into bite-size florets and thinly slice the apple. Finely dice the red onion.
2. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper until smooth.
3. In a large bowl, combine broccoli, apple slices, red onion, cranberries, cheese, sunflower seeds, and crumbled bacon.
4. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss gently until everything is evenly coated.
5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Serve chilled.
Notes
Toss apples with lemon juice to prevent browning.
Substitute Greek yogurt for a lighter dressing.
