Description

This Easy Buffalo Chicken Cottage Cheese Dip is a creamy, spicy, high-protein twist on the classic appetizer. Made with blended cottage cheese instead of heavy cream cheese, it’s perfect for game days, gatherings, or snack attacks. Serve it warm with crunchy veggies or tortilla chips for a dip everyone will devour.


Ingredients

2 cups cooked shredded chicken

1 cup cottage cheese

1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional chopped green onions or blue cheese crumbles


Instructions

1. Add the cottage cheese to a blender or food processor and blend until smooth and creamy.

2. In a large mixing bowl, mix the shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, blended cottage cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir in half the mozzarella and cheddar cheeses.

3. Transfer the mixture to an oven-safe dish or skillet. Top with the remaining cheeses.

4. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden.

5. Garnish with green onions or blue cheese if desired, and serve warm with chips or veggies.

Notes

Use full-fat small curd cottage cheese for the creamiest texture.

Rotisserie chicken makes this recipe fast and flavorful.

Adjust the buffalo sauce to control the heat level.
