Description

These Easy Buffalo Garlic Chicken Bites are spicy, garlicky, and ultra crispy. A quick chicken appetizer made in under 20 minutes, perfect for game day, weeknight dinners, or party platters. Serve with ranch, blue cheese, or in wraps.


Ingredients

1 pound chicken breast or thighs

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

2 tablespoons cornstarch

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 tablespoons butter

1/4 cup hot sauce (like Frank’s RedHot)

3 cloves garlic, minced


Instructions

1. Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and pat dry with paper towels.

2. Season chicken with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

3. Toss seasoned chicken with cornstarch until evenly coated.

4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

5. Cook chicken in a single layer for 3 to 4 minutes undisturbed.

6. Flip and cook another 3 to 4 minutes until golden and cooked through.

7. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.

8. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.

9. Stir in hot sauce and simmer for 1 to 2 minutes.

10. Pour sauce over cooked chicken and toss to coat evenly.

11. Let chicken cook in sauce for 1 additional minute.

12. Serve hot with optional dips or sides.

Notes

Patting the chicken dry ensures maximum crispiness.

Do not crowd the pan while cooking or the chicken will steam.

For extra heat, add a pinch of cayenne to the sauce.
