Description
This Easy Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie has all the gooey goodness of a classic cookie baked into a warm, buttery pie crust. With melty chocolate chips, a crisp top, and a soft chewy center, it’s a dessert that wins hearts fast. Serve it warm with a scoop of ice cream for the ultimate comfort treat.
Ingredients
1 deep-dish pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled
2 large eggs
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Instructions
1. If using a frozen crust, thaw for about 10 minutes. If homemade, roll it into a 9-inch deep-dish pie pan and crimp the edges. Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).
2. In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla until smooth and frothy.
3. Stir in flour, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until a thick batter forms.
4. Fold in the chocolate chips and walnuts (if using) evenly.
5. Pour the batter into the crust and smooth the top.
6. Bake for 30–35 minutes until the top is golden and center is set. A toothpick should come out with moist crumbs.
7. Let cool for 15 minutes before slicing. Serve warm with ice cream if desired.
Notes
Make sure your butter is cooled so it doesn’t scramble the eggs.
Use a deep-dish pie crust to avoid overflow.
Don’t overbake—the pie continues to cook slightly as it cools.
