This Easy Crack Chicken Casserole is the ultimate comfort food—creamy, cheesy, and topped with buttery Ritz crackers and crispy bacon. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or make-ahead meal that everyone will devour.
Ingredients
3 cups cooked shredded chicken
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
0.5 cup chopped green onions (optional)
1 sleeve Ritz crackers (about 30), crushed
4 tablespoons melted butter
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
2. In a large bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, and ranch seasoning until smooth.
3. Stir in shredded chicken, cheddar cheese, half of the crumbled bacon, and green onions. Mix well.
4. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
5. In a separate bowl, mix crushed Ritz crackers with melted butter.
6. Sprinkle the cracker mixture evenly over the top of the casserole.
7. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
8. Remove from oven and sprinkle remaining bacon over the top before serving.
Notes
Rotisserie chicken saves time and adds flavor.
Add steamed broccoli or spinach to sneak in some veggies.
For extra texture, use a cheddar-jack blend cheese.
