Description

Easy Creamy Velveeta Chicken Bowtie Pasta with Garlic Mozzarella Sauce is a rich, cheesy one-skillet dinner that combines tender chicken, creamy Velveeta, and a garlicky mozzarella sauce over bowtie pasta. This comfort food classic is perfect for busy weeknights and family dinners. Keywords: Velveeta chicken pasta, creamy garlic mozzarella sauce, easy chicken pasta.

Ingredients

12 oz bowtie pasta

1 lb chicken breast or thighs

8 oz Velveeta cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

4 garlic cloves, minced

1 cup heavy cream

2 tbsp butter

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the bowtie pasta until al dente. Drain and reserve 1/4 cup of pasta water.

2. Season diced chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook chicken until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.

3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.

4. Reduce heat to low, pour in the heavy cream, and stir in Velveeta and mozzarella until fully melted and creamy. Add reserved pasta water to adjust consistency.

5. Add cooked chicken and drained pasta to the skillet, tossing until everything is coated in sauce.

6. Taste and adjust salt and pepper as needed. Serve hot with optional garnish of more mozzarella or parsley.

Notes

Velveeta melts best on low heat; avoid overheating.

Add spinach, broccoli, or mushrooms for extra nutrition.

Leftovers reheat well with a splash of milk or cream.
