Description
Soft, gooey, and dripping in sweet vanilla glaze, this easy monkey bread is made with biscuit dough for a fast and crowd-pleasing pull-apart breakfast or dessert.
Ingredients
2 cans refrigerated biscuit dough (16.3 oz each)
1 cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a bundt pan.
2. Cut biscuits into quarters. Combine granulated sugar and cinnamon in a bag, then shake the dough pieces in the mixture to coat.
3. Layer coated pieces evenly in the bundt pan.
4. In a bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Pour over dough in the pan.
5. Bake for 35–40 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Cool for 10 minutes, then invert onto a plate.
6. Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Drizzle glaze over warm bread and serve.
Notes
Make sure to grease the bundt pan thoroughly to avoid sticking.
Let the bread cool before glazing to prevent melting.
Reheat leftovers in the microwave for gooey perfection.
