Ingredients
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
8 ounces pasta (penne or your favorite)
Fresh basil or parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Cook until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
2. In the same skillet, sauté garlic and sun-dried tomatoes for 1-2 minutes.
3. Stir in heavy cream and chicken broth. Simmer for 3-4 minutes to thicken.
4. Add parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes. Stir until the sauce is creamy.
5. Return the cooked chicken and add the cooked pasta. Toss to coat evenly.
6. Garnish with chopped basil or parsley and serve warm.
Notes
Cook the pasta al dente so it doesn’t overcook in the sauce.
Adjust the spice by changing the amount of red pepper flakes.
Use freshly grated parmesan for best texture and flavor.
