Description

Ingredients

3 cups shredded rotisserie chicken

30 oz frozen shredded hash browns, thawed

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

10.5 oz cream of chicken soup

1 cup sour cream

0.5 cup melted butter

0.5 cup chopped yellow onion

0.5 teaspoon garlic powder

salt and pepper to taste

optional chopped parsley or chives for garnish


Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

2. In a large bowl, mix chicken, hash browns, cheese, soup, sour cream, butter, onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until combined.

3. Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.

4. Bake uncovered for 45-50 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.

5. Cool for 5-10 minutes, garnish with parsley or chives, and serve warm.

Notes

Be sure to thaw and pat dry the hash browns to avoid excess moisture.

Add crushed buttery crackers on top before baking for a crispy crust.
