Ingredients
2 cups water
1 teaspoon ground turmeric
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1 pinch black pepper
1 teaspoon honey
1/2 cup milk of choice (optional)
Instructions
1. In a small saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a gentle boil.
2. Add turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, and black pepper. Reduce heat and let simmer for 10 minutes.
3. Turn off the heat and strain the tea into a mug using a fine mesh strainer.
4. Stir in honey while the tea is still warm.
5. Add your choice of milk for a creamier version (optional).
6. Serve hot, or chill and refrigerate for up to 3 days.
