Description

These Easy Vegan Brownies are rich, fudgy, and made with simple plant-based ingredients. One bowl and pantry staples make this a go-to dessert for any occasion.


Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce

1/4 cup vegetable oil

1/4 cup plant-based milk (almond, soy, or oat)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup dairy-free chocolate chips


Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

3. Add applesauce, vegetable oil, plant-based milk, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.

4. Fold in dairy-free chocolate chips evenly.

5. Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top.

6. Bake for 28–32 minutes, until edges are set and center has moist crumbs.

7. Cool completely in the pan before slicing into squares.
