Ingredients
6 English muffins, split
1 cup pizza sauce
1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup mini pepperoni slices or chopped regular pepperoni
1/4 cup chopped bell peppers (optional)
1/4 cup sliced black olives (optional)
1 tsp dried oregano or Italian seasoning
Olive oil spray (optional, for crisping edges)
Instructions
1. Place the split English muffins on a baking sheet and lightly toast them in a 375°F (190°C) oven for about 5 minutes.
2. Spoon a generous tablespoon of pizza sauce onto each muffin half. Spread it evenly, leaving just a bit of space near the edges.
3. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the sauce, then add your choice of toppings like pepperoni, bell peppers, or olives.
4. Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and starting to brown. For crispier edges, broil for 1 minute.
5. Let the pizzas cool slightly before serving.
