Ingredients
Filling:
1 bag (32 oz) frozen diced or shredded hash browns, thawed
2 cups sour cream
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup melted butter
1/2 cup chopped onions (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Topping:
2 cups cornflakes, crushed
1/4 cup melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine thawed hash browns, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, shredded cheddar cheese, melted butter, and chopped onions (if using). Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix well.
- Pour the potato mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
