Description

Garlic Butter Shrimp Scampi Lasagna is a rich, creamy seafood pasta bake layered with juicy shrimp, garlic butter, and cheese. Perfect for weeknight dinners or dinner parties, this garlic shrimp lasagna combines the elegance of shrimp scampi with the comfort of lasagna. A seafood lasagna recipe everyone will crave!

Ingredients

12 lasagna noodles

1 1/2 pounds shrimp, peeled and deveined

6 cloves garlic, minced

6 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons lemon juice

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

1 1/2 cups ricotta cheese

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup grated parmesan cheese

3/4 cup heavy cream

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. In a skillet, heat butter and olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.

2. Add shrimp and cook until pink and just opaque, about 2–3 minutes per side. Stir in lemon juice and remove from heat.

3. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta, 1 cup mozzarella, 1/2 cup parmesan, parsley, salt, pepper, and heavy cream.

4. Cook lasagna noodles per package instructions. Drain and lay flat on parchment to prevent sticking.

5. Preheat oven to 375°F.

6. Spread a layer of cheese mixture in a 9×13-inch baking dish. Add noodles, shrimp, more cheese mixture, and repeat. Top with remaining mozzarella and parmesan.

7. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 10–15 minutes until bubbly and golden.

8. Let lasagna rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Use fresh or fully thawed shrimp for best texture.

Strain ricotta if it’s watery to avoid soggy layers.

Allow resting time after baking for easier slicing.
