Description

This Garlic Grilled Cheese is crispy, golden, and packed with flavor from garlic butter and melty cheese. It’s the perfect twist on a classic comfort food—quick to make and unforgettable to taste.

Ingredients

4 slices sourdough bread

2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

1 clove garlic, minced

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)

0.5 teaspoon garlic powder

4 slices sharp cheddar cheese

2 slices mozzarella cheese

pinch salt

pinch black pepper

Instructions

1. In a small bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, garlic powder, parsley, salt, and black pepper until combined.

2. Spread garlic butter mixture on one side of each bread slice.

3. Layer 2 cheddar slices and 1 mozzarella slice on the unbuttered side. Top with the second slice, buttered side out.

4. Heat skillet over medium. Grill sandwiches for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and cheese melts.

5. Rest sandwiches for 1 minute before slicing and serving hot.

Notes

For extra garlic flavor, roast the garlic before mixing it into the butter.

Use thick-cut bread for a sturdier, crispier texture.

Don’t press too hard while grilling to avoid squeezing out the cheese.
