Perfect for family meals or dinner parties, this dish blends Italian comfort with Southern spice for an unforgettable dining experience.

Ingredients

500 g boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs

3 cloves garlic, minced

100 g grated Parmesan cheese (for chicken)

100 g breadcrumbs

2 large eggs, beaten

3 tbsp butter

240 ml heavy cream

2 tsp Cajun seasoning

60 g Parmesan cheese (for sauce)

100 g fresh spinach leaves

1 sheet puff pastry

1 tbsp olive oil

Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

1. Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces, pat dry, and season lightly with salt and pepper.

2. In one bowl, beat the eggs. In another, mix breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, and minced garlic.

3. Dip each chicken piece into the egg, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.

4. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken until golden and cooked through, about 3–4 minutes per side.

5. In a saucepan, combine heavy cream and butter over medium heat. Stir in Cajun seasoning and Parmesan cheese until smooth and thickened.

6. Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F). Roll out puff pastry, top with spinach, drizzle with olive oil, season with salt, and cut into strips.
