Description

Healthy Cherry Greek Frozen Yogurt is a creamy, refreshing dessert made with real cherries, protein-rich Greek yogurt, and natural sweetness. It’s quick to prepare, requires minimal ingredients, and delivers a tangy-sweet frozen treat that feels indulgent while staying light and wholesome.

Ingredients

2 cups frozen cherries pitted

1 1/2 cups plain Greek yogurt

3 tablespoons honey or maple syrup

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 pinch salt

Instructions

1. Add frozen cherries, Greek yogurt, honey, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and salt to a blender or food processor and blend until smooth and creamy.

2. Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness if needed by adding more honey or maple syrup.

3. Transfer mixture to a freezer-safe container and smooth the top evenly.

4. Freeze for 1 to 2 hours for scoopable texture or longer for firmer consistency.

5. Let sit at room temperature for about 5 minutes before scooping and serving.

Notes

Use full-fat Greek yogurt for the creamiest texture.

If using fresh cherries freeze them first for proper consistency.

Press parchment paper on the surface before freezing to reduce ice crystals.
